We had to transcreate from English to Spanish a successful TV commercial. The original one had a joke that didn’t resonate with the Spanish-speaking audience. Translating jokes is no joke! 

But, by using a common phrase among the Hispanic community, which rhymes and had the same purpose as the English commercial, we were able to convey the message and stay culturally relevant.
